PSE Approval & Estimate Validity
Some requests require additional work from our Professional Services team. When this happens, we will provide a Professional Services Estimate (PSE) outlining the effort required to complete your request.
What is a PSE?
A PSE (Professional Services Estimate) is the estimated number of hours needed to complete a specific request, such as report development, configuration changes, or other custom work.
How does the approval process work?
Once your request has been reviewed, we will send you an estimate that includes the number of hours required.
To proceed:
- Review the estimate provided
- Reply to the email to confirm your approval
After we receive your confirmation, we will move forward with the request.
How long is the estimate valid?
PSE approvals are valid for 30 days from the date the estimate is provided.
If approval is not received within that timeframe:
- The estimate may expire
- A new estimate may be required before work can begin
Why is there an expiration?
We understand that you may have competing priorities. The 30-day window helps ensure that:
- Estimates remain accurate based on current requirements
- Resources can be planned effectively
Need more time?
If we do not receive approval within 30 days, the request may be marked as complete for now. You can reply at any time to continue, and we’ll be happy to pick things back up.
Please note that depending on timing, the request may need to be re-evaluated and a new estimate may be required.
